I know you already have some super secret smoking fast setup for the new slash so let here it already ....Mine will be here Tuesday so I need to know. Also outside the optional cd is the platinum diff setup the same as the rtr?

No civil wars allowed here in my neighborhood!

I don't have a lot of time on the track yet, but here's what's worked well the last two times out.

Diffs 30k-100k-7k, or 30k-slipper-grease
Shocks 60wt front, 50wt rear, both in senod hole out on arm (stock front, in one on rear), middle hole on tower.
Aluminum rear axle carriers with 1.5 degrees extra toe-in.
1 degree camber all around
2s Lipo with stock gearing or +1 tooth on bigger tracks
Silver swaybars, flush links in rear and 5mm wire showing past the front links.
I REALLY recommend good tires, up to your track's restrictions. The best tire Traxxas makes is the S1 original slash tire.

I'm still testing and trying to make the truck faster and easier to drive. As I come up with new results I'll be sure to let you all know.

I'd say swaybars, CD, and the aluminum rear carriers with 1.5deg extra toe. That's how mine's set up and it's hooked up. Good tires are a big bonus too.

A quick question on the rear hubs. Do the Alum rear hubs on the PE have the additional 1.5deg of rear toe that you mention?

Yes they do. They are part number 1952X. Worth every penny to upgrade to in terms of performance and durability.

There is some confusion on other message boards about the rear axle carriers. They are not the same as the 2wd Slash.
