My race revo

have been getting my revo ready for race season this year. and have already upgraded it alot. so far i have for racing. incluing spares is. the revo started out as the semi old revo with platinum radio boxes. model 5308 i think.

1. rpm arms all around.
compleate set of stock spares as well as a set of extended rear when needed.
2. traxxas wing mount with kyosho wing since they have a larger surface area for more rear traction.
wing mount will be braced after i get the sway bars installed to check for clearance.
3. Rd racing starter box with hobbico battery.
have a roto start back plate on for backup.
4. racing tires.
traxxas response
panther gators.
5. 2.4 ghz radio ( spektrum dx 3.0 )
6. center diff with 500k oil
7 rear brake kit.
8. close ratio gear set.
9. futaba metal gear servo for steering
futaba standard bearing for throttle.

things i still am going to do.

1. sway bars ( traxxas )
2. brace rear wing with jato turn buckles. so aluminum skid plate and then putting tekno skid protectors on.
3. cvds ( traxxas )
4. Traxxas red tube turnbucles and pushrods.
5 rd logics aluminum diff cups front, rear and center.
6. extreme racing black carbon fiber throttle servo mount.
7. rd logincs ball bearing throttle mix arm.
8. r2c racing engine mount brace.
9. titanium hinge pins.
10. lungsfod titanium rocker posts.

all the things i have done and still want to do has been proven at my track already. and have been done by the other racers at my track to survive the hour long mains that we have every other weekend.
if there is anything else i can add or a setup that i can change will greatly be appreciated. i want my revo to be capable and competitive but dont want to cheap out on it.

Ditch the red traxxas pushrods and turnbuckles, and get the lundsford ones. There alot better investment

whoops.....my bad...I thought you were asking about wing mounts...not just wings....Anyways I will comment on the Tekno mount. It seems stronger and an all around better wing mount IMO. But as far as wings I'm pretty sure u will have to drill no matter what if you go aftermarket?

Nah it bolts directly to the body mount posts instead of the mount itself.

It's stronger than the traxxas one but it mounts to a weaker part of the
truck so i say stick with the traxxas one.

ANd yeah, most wings will need holes to be drilled. I use the Proline ones that
have a handy grid thing on the bottom which helps line up the holes so that
it mounts up perfect everytime!
