revo wing brace.

is there a way to brace the wing that will still allow the use of sway bars. i will be using the traxxas sway bars. i have the traxxas wing also. i like the method that goes from the wing mount doun to the rear skid plate. using jato turnbuckles right.

Bondonutz- That works but it doesn't work worth a darn with the use of the traxxas mount. Christmaxx is talking about the braces me and IndianJim came up with. IndianJim's had two jato turnbuckles that braced the mount from the back and bolted to an aluminum skid plate. I did the same but I put longer screws in the bulkhead for the toe links and bolted them in that way. Both work extremely well.

Heres the thread that explains it with pictures.

I dont run sway bars but the brace that goes from the shocks to the body mount would work with the TRX sways but you might aswell not run the brace cause its non-effective in bracing the chassis wit the TRX mount. I'm not sure if the jato turnbuckle mod would work with the TRX sways or not. IndianJim's might since his go to the skid plate. Mine mount where the TRX sways mount.

does indian jims mod use jato turnbuckles. does it need to be a aluminum skid plate.
if it does need a aluminum rear skid plate then i need to know what rear skid plates are copatible with the rd racing starter box.

aslo if any one has some picdtures of the back part of the revo how the traxxas sway bars go or how far they extend out. they dont hang out past the rear bumper do they.

The wing will keep the rear sways safe and yes I would run an aluminum skid so the bolts dont rip through the plastic. And yeah I'm pretty sure they are jato turnbuckles.
