Theoreticly there is no difference. It comes down to quality and precision. Good quality servos have metal gears, last longer, are more robust, and are much more precise.

Hello Tim,
One of my stock servo's got damaged, I may need to replace the gears in them. I will be trying a single servo set-up, since I have 2 titanium gear servos. I just noticed the mounting areas on my hitec servos seem short for the e-revo, have you tried these servos on the e-revo? |

I personally haven't tried them, but I know others that have put Hitec servos in an E-Revo without any problems. Every servo is different between the mounting ears, so some will fit better than others.
